With a focus on assertiveness, the Misha Vaidya style is a well-balanced blend of poise and charm, with a dash of mischief. Misha Vaidya’s collections are a sartorial escape, where day meets night and strength meets femininity. Combining her English upbringing, with her modern New York life, she prides the brand on its attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship.

Originally known as By Misha – a clothing brand marked by its affinity for fairytales and whimsical designs has evolved into Misha Vaidya, a change that showcases the growth the brand and the 26-year-old designer have undergone since the brand’s inception in 2011.

Misha Vaidya represents the woman who wants it all. Sartorially savvy, comprised of sharp and elegant designs, the brand has evolved, as the designer herself has.

“The brand isn’t ‘by’ me anymore, the brand is me,” said Misha Vaidya, the designer and namesake of the brand. “I wanted the brand image to reflect that change, and the growth I’ve experienced as a designer.”

Misha Vaidya will still incorporate elements of the former brand, but with a decidedly stronger aesthetic. Clean lines and elegant designs with a focus on assertiveness, coupled with a bit of edge for the modern woman, are all elements Misha will incorporate in upcoming collections.

Misha has always had a love affair with fashion and design. Determined to make her dreams a reality, she immersed herself in the London fashion scene, taking every opportunity to learn and establish her own style identity.

Born and raised in London, her love affair with fashion and design started when she was a little girl. After crossing the pond, Misha graduated from Miami International University in 2007, with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at the age of 19, and a Master’s in Public Relations from the University of Miami in 2010. Since the launch of By Misha in 2011, the brand has added seven collections, several New York Fashion Week presentations, a Miami Beach International Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week show to its journey.
