Growing up, modelling has been my secret dream job and I idolized the industry icons. But having always thought of myself as awkward looking and very shy in social settings, it was never something that I thought could become a reality for me.
As I got older, it was not out of the ordinary for complete strangers to approach me, telling me I should try modelling. I found Wilhelmina Vancouver online around the time of high school graduation, I felt the timing was right and decided to give it a shot and submit photos. Receiving feedback right away, it felt as though it was meant to be.
Wilhelmina Vancouver has been an amazing Mother Agency, launching my career immediately. The first scout I met signed me and I was headed to NYC right away. Almost a year later and being signed to some amazing agencies with very exciting opportunities awaiting me, I am so happy that I didn’t give up on my dream.
Having a list of goals to achieve, such as gracing the cover of Vogue and walking the runway as a Victoria Secret Angel, I will not give up or let anything get in my way. It has been an amazing experience thus far and I am very excited for what is to come.
